How to play Chicken Road: rules and controls
Five buttons, four difficulty levels, one decision per step. Here is the complete rulebook in plain English.

The screen at a glance
- Road — lanes separated by dashed white lines. Each lane shows a coin with the multiplier you will hold if the chicken lands there.
- Golden egg — the final lane and the highest multiplier for the chosen difficulty.
- Stake field with MIN and MAX shortcuts and quick chips (1, 2, 5, 10).
- Difficulty switch — Easy, Medium, Hard, Hardcore.
- Chance of collision — the risk of the next step on the current level.
- CASH OUT (yellow) and GO (green).
Step-by-step
- Set your stake. Use the field or the chips. Minimum and maximum depend on the casino and currency.
- Choose a difficulty. It decides how long the road is and how fast the multipliers grow.
- Press GO. The chicken hops into the first lane. If it is safe, the coin lights up and your current win equals stake × that multiplier.
- Decide. GO again for the next, bigger multiplier — or CASH OUT to bank the current win.
- Round ends when you cash out, when the chicken is fried, or when it reaches the golden egg (automatic top payout).

Three rules beginners get wrong
- "The chicken is due a win." Every step is independent. Five safe steps do not make the sixth safer or riskier than the game states.
- "Hardcore pays better." It pays bigger, less often. The long-run return (RTP) is the same design target across levels.
- "Cashing out early is for cowards." Cashing out early is simply a lower-variance choice. It is often the smarter one for a small budget.

Frequently asked questions
When should I cash out in Chicken Road?
There is no mathematically best point — expected value is the same at every exit. Pick a target that matches your budget and stick to it.
What does 'chance of collision' mean?
It is the probability shown by the game that the next step ends the round. It grows with higher difficulty levels.
Can I change difficulty in the middle of a round?
No. Difficulty is locked when the round starts and can be changed before the next one.
What happens if I lose connection?
Rounds run on the provider's server. Licensed casinos settle interrupted rounds according to the game rules; check your game history after reconnecting.
