Chicken Road provably fair: how to verify a round

Provably fair is a promise you can check: the result of a round is fixed before you play and can be verified afterwards with cryptography.

The idea in 30 seconds

  1. Before the round, the server picks a secret server seed and shows you its hash (a fingerprint).
  2. Your browser adds a client seed; a counter called a nonce increases each round.
  3. The result is calculated from server seed + client seed + nonce.
  4. After the round (or when you rotate seeds) the server reveals the real server seed. You hash it yourself and compare it with the fingerprint you saw earlier. If they match, the result was fixed before you clicked.

How to check a Chicken Road round

Third-party game databases list the series as provably fair. Implementation details can vary by build and operator, so trust what the game interface in front of you shows.

Why this matters for "predictors"

If the server seed is secret until the round is over, nobody outside the server can know where the traps are. A "predictor" would need that secret — and if it had it, the hash check would expose the casino. This is the strongest technical argument that every Chicken Road predictor app or "signal" channel is a scam. More in Predictor & hacks.

Frequently asked questions

Is Chicken Road rigged?

The genuine game runs on the provider's certified servers. Rigging risk comes from fake clones and unlicensed sites, not from the original game at licensed casinos.

Where do I find the fairness settings?

In crash games with provably fair support, look for a shield or fairness icon in the game menu or in the round history.

Can the casino change the result after I bet?

In a provably fair system the server seed is committed as a hash before the round. Changing the outcome later would break the hash check.
